A graduate of Brown University, and the Department of Clinical Psychology at the University of Florida, Dr.
Haymaker has worked with a wide range of people and issues.
Prior to beginning his private practice in 1989, Dr. Haymaker was on staff at the Princeton PRN Intensive
Outpatient Program, Morristown Memorial Hospital and St. Clares-Riverside Medical Center. He was responsible for individual
and family therapy as well as conducting several group therapies.
At Morristown Memorial
Hospital, he provided individual and family therapy and psychological evaluations to children and adults at the Parenting
Center, and Center for Evaluation and Psychotherapy. He also consulted with the Family Enrichment
Program (a DYFS clinic treating families of abuse) and was interim Clinical Director. He led teaching seminars
with hospital staff and graduate students.
Dr. Haymaker has served as clinical supervisor for
the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University for more than 20 years.
